Just as it sounds, you will be tucked under a rug on your own soft meditation mattress, cocooned in a safe, comfy nest while you are surrounded by the healing tones and vibrations of music, Tibetan singing bowls, chimes, and other instruments.

In this nurturing container, you'll be able to 'tune out,' restore, and gently let go. This intimate group experience is designed to ease stress and help you to re-calibrate your nervous system.

Purchase tickets for a 'Sound Nest' at Urban Wellness with Kyrie for $55.00 (normally $75). You will receive a special credit code to use when you are ready to book yourself into a future event which are held monthly.

    We provide 2 pillows, a throw rug, a sensory rug, and a meditation mattress for each attendee.

    There will be time allocated to share your experience (completely optional) at the end of the meditation while we sip a warm cup of calming herbal tea. What to bring…

  • Comfy Clothes
    Wear loose, comfortable clothes as you will be sitting on the floor and then lying down during the session.

  • Socks
    You will be removing your shoes upon arrival. Bring a pair of socks if you prefer to keep your feet warm.

  • Eye Pillow / Scarf
    If you have an eye pillow (or scarf), bring it to enhance your experience in your personal Sound Nest.

  • Journal / Pen
    There will be time to note any insights or reflections after the meditation so bring a journal and pen.

  • Water Bottle

PARKING
Street Parking: Nile Street offers some 2-hour and some unlimited street parking.
Alternative Parking: If street parking on Nile Street is unavailable, we recommend parking on St Vincent Street, or in the waterfront car park off Nelson Street near the British Hotel.

FRAGRANCE FREE POLICY
Our business Kindred Self is built upon using natural plant aromatics to support health. Synthetic fragrances / perfumes can negatively impact our health overall. Kyrie is particularly sensitive to perfumes, which can immediately trigger headaches if in a closed space. It is important that you please avoid wearing perfumes or aftershave on the day of this event. This will also prevent any strong fragrance impacting the experience for the other attendees.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

  • Age Appropriate: This service is currently designed and modelled around supporting people who are 15+.

  • Pregnancy: If you are pregnant, sound therapy is not suitable if you are in your first trimester. Please contact us before booking to discuss ways to ensure your comfort.

  • Pacemakers / Stents: Tibetan singing bowl therapy is not be suitable for individuals with pacemakers or any artificial implants/devices for heart conditions. Consult your medical practitioner before booking.

  • Epilepsy: This service is not suitable for individuals with sound induced epilepsy.

AFTER SOUND NEST
You will feel very relaxed after your Sound Nest experience. Schedule your appointment on a day when you don't need to rush about afterward. This will allow you to honour and fully enjoy the blissful state you achieve. You will still be alert enough to drive home.

CONFIDENTIALITY & PRIVACY
It will be optional to share parts of your personal experience on the night with other attendees. By attending this event, you agree that anything shared or discussed will remain confidential and respectfully held within the group.

CANCELLATIONS
All tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend an event you are welcome to gift your ticket to a friend. Please notify us of any changes to your attendance by emailing hello@kindredself.com.au as soon as possible prior to the event start time. The organiser reserves the right to cancel this event due to reasons beyond our control. In such a case, a full refund will be issued and a new date will be scheduled for you to rebook. Thank you!
